Jason Derulo angers South Africans
Singer Jason Derulo made the blunder of a lifetime after while in South Africa.
Derulo, who was in the country to perform at the ANN7 South African of the Year Awards, wasn’t being felt by the crowd so he asked them, “Y’all speak English right?”
South African fans didn’t take too kindly to it, and the singer tried to explain what he meant on Twitter.
Fans didn’t buy his explanation, and he still got that work on Twitter.
"Speaking English" remark I made, was directed to a specific table. It wasn't literal, just a figure of speech when someone isn't responding
