Unmarried bride gives food to charity
The family of a California woman made a huge gesture of kindness and charity after her groom bailed on their wedding day.
27-year old Quinn Duane was due to get married at the Citizen Hotel in Sacramento, but instead of cancelling the event, Quinn and her family invited the homeless people in the area to come enjoy the feast.
“It just seemed like, of course, this would be something that we would do to give back,” Quinn’s mom, Kari Duane told KCRA.
“To lose out on something so important to yourself and then give it to someone else is really giving, really kind,” Erika Craycraft, who attended the banquet with her husband and children, told KCRA.
